Marin Food and Farm Tour

Enjoy a gourmet journey into the incredible Point Reyes food scene in West Marin. Learn all about sustainable agriculture, artisan food production, and local history. After departing San Francisco, our first stop will be at Point Reyes Cheese Company for a walking tour of the farm. Our guide will discuss the newly installed methane digester and other cutting-edge technologies used to assist with waste management, water quality, and pasture management. After an in-the-field cheese tasting, participants will enjoy a gourmet lunch in the farm’s beautiful culinary center. Our next stop will be at the remarkable Hog Island Oyster Company, where we will learn about the farm's growing process and sustainability practices and participate in an oyster-shucking lesson and oyster tasting. Our final stop will be at Heidrun Meadery, where participants will observe the honey bees in action while learning how sparkling mead is produced. The Marin Food and Farm Tour includes round-trip transportation, guided tours, a gourmet lunch, and all wine, cheese, and food tastings.
