Melanie Janin oversees communications strategy and activities for BSR, managing a team of communications experts supporting BSR’s work globally. In this role, she creates communications platforms to advance BSR’s mission of working with business to create a just and sustainable world. She is responsible for brand strategy, media relations, editorial content, web and digital communications, marketing partnerships, and the annual BSR Conference. Previously, Janin was Director of Marketing Communications at Environmental Defense Fund. She also managed global communications teams at Greenpeace and SeaWeb. Prior to her work in the nonprofit sector, Janin specialized in technology communications as head of European communications for Iomega Corporation.
